Foldable Laptop PC - Rolltop
Watch this awesome stuff. This could be a reality in the near future.
Overview
Rolltop is a portable computer development concept for designer, architect and everyone, who would like to have a gadget, which, from an aesthetic standpoint alone, certainly hits the mark. By virtue of the OLED-Display technology and a multi touchscreen the utility of a laptop computer with its weight of a mini-notebook and screen size of 13 inch easily transforms into the graphics tablet, which with its 17-inch flat screen can be also used as a primary monitor due to the support attached to the back of the screen.
Rolltop 2.0 is a further development of Rolltop with some visible and mostly invisible improvements (e.g. internal design, placement of certain components etc.)
Proposition
Rolltop is not a "virtual and futuristic" gadget, existing only on the screen of your computer as in the most of similar concepts and visions! Most of the existing design concepts usually have been developed without any deep technologic and ergonomic elaboration and often could be difficult or even impossible realized. From the beginning Rolltop has been developed as a real future product. During its development a lot of different scenarios (e.g. usability, functionality etc.) were simulated. Moreover we have included in Rolltop the best worldwide ergonomic, mechanic and electronic practices.
Technology
The device of the flexible display allows a new concept in notebook design growing out of the traditional "bookformed" laptop into unfurling and convolving portable computer. Rolltop incorporates both latest high-tech devices and a new brand design techniques into a computer that will increase the quality and productivity of the designers work. On top of everything else no laptop bag needed - all computer utilities from an interactive pen through power supply to the holding belt are integrated in Rolltop. This is really an all-in-one gadget.

Moveo Folding Electric Scooter - Roll it Or Fold it!
In today's life driving and finding a parking space is a common problem everywhere in the cities. Moveo, a scooter created by non-profit group Antro, is lightweight, electric and solves your parking problem because it folds up into itself and dragged on its wheels, like a piece of luggage. You can drive to work, then park your scooter by your desk.
The scooter weighs 55 pounds, so it is not the lightest of loads, but it is certainly portable. It only reaches speeds up to 28 mph and has a battery range of 21.75 miles. While this is not a vehicle for a road trip, it is certainly convenient for city-dwellers who zip from place to place and don’t want to waste time parking. The design is fully enclosed, so there is no chance of getting oil stains on your khakis, and unlike other folding scooters, it has a traditional full-back seat that is mounted on the chassis.
Features:
*Carbon Fiber Composite Body
*Utazóborönd size foldable and retractable, does not require a parking space
*Agymotoros electric drive
*Pedal generator
Design specifications:
*Empty weight: 25 kg
*Speed: 45 km / h (limited)
*Range: 35 km (speed dependent)
*Consumption: 2 km kWh/100
*Battery life: 35.000 km

Awesome Luxury Floating Island
Osros floating island is designed by Austrian company which includes six luxury double bedrooms, with space for 12 residents and four staff members. The boat is priced at £3 million. The manufacturers describe the island as an “autonomous power supply based energy system” powered by a noiseless wind energy system. The island also features over 120 m2 of solar panels. Heat recovery from the sea water is used for heating and air conditioning. The company explains: “In the beginning, my goal was to create an exclusive, high-quality hotel chain based on floating platforms. With the progress of the project it became clear that the attractive and unusual concept of Orsos Islands should not be limited to only a selected group of people. Orsos Islands should reach a much broader audience, people with an awareness of modern life and a feeling of responsibility towards the environment.” The Austrian company began construction of the prototype in Germany and Hungary. The company’s goal is to show the structure to the public by the end of 2013.

Cloud House
I just love this unusual house called “Cloud House” which is located in Melbourne, Australia. It was created by architect McBride Charles Ryan as an addition and renovation to a double-fronted Edwardian house in Fitzroy North.

Cardboard Bicycle - Amazing
Bicyclists already have low-carbon footprints, but designer Izhar Gafni decided to go one step further: build a bicycle out of cardboard.
Inspired by a cardboard canoe, Gafni set out on this task to create a bike version. He first ran the idea by three engineers. “They said it’s impossible,” Gafni recalled. “There’s no way it can be done.” But his wife encouraged him to try nonetheless.
To increase the cardboard’s strength, he borrowed a trick from origami. Folding a piece of paper over once increases the strength threefold, he said, so he applied this concept to cardboard.
